Have I mentioned that I love you, your passion and enthusiasm?! (don't call HR just yet) I firmly believe in the philosophy of doing things differently to generate different results. Your suggestion of community involvement is bang on, particularly since we can always inprove our community relations t oconnect with listeners on different levels. Radio is such a local medium so the importance of reaching out to local communities is both critical and of significant value.
More to your recommendation, I believe the attached concept of fulfilling dreams may tie in nicely. With this application, there is no direct link to a charitable organization, but rather we take on this role directly. Let's make a commitment to discuss your idea, which to some degree has also been identified in our strat plan (MBO) for this fiscal.

Mookie, I can't express how touched I am with what you did. I spoke with my sister last night and she taught all 5 boys at Grey Bruce Secondary School. She had one funeral yesterday and 2 to attend today. She said the profound 'heaviness' adn 'loss' of everyone is so overwhelming that no one knows what to say or do - but they all just know they need to be together. I sent her the email about the dedication yesterday and she shared it with the school community - they were touched. You do great things with your show and touch the lives of people. I truly appreciate this and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support and love shown to these families.

Mookie, you just about caused an accident this morning. I love you Bandit voice, but when you went into the "Davey" bit, I almost spewed a mouthful of coffee onto my windshield! I was instantly a wee girl parked in front of that little old tv watching that show. What was the name of that cartoon? I'm still chuckling here at the office. You're winning me over Mookie. ;o} Oh ya... I do a good Grover to go with your horrifying Cookie Monster.
